I just learned that Tasha Tudor passed away yesterday. I imagine she's gone to somewhere like Cranford in the Great Beyond. I can't understate how much her books influenced my tastes as a child...and continue to draw me into historic costuming, vintage lifestyle, dolls, etc. Still, the world seems a little greyer, maybe harsher without her in it. However, her legacy will continue...
